Washington D.C. - Richmond, VA
We moved to Richmond two years ago from Washington, D.C. You’ll find a lot of my posts involve both cities quite frequently! We have also lived in Charlottesville, New York City & Plymouth, MA, absolutely loving all places for their rich histories and beautiful surroundings. I love to photograph beautiful spots around the places I live & visit and objects I acquire while visiting! (usually in the form of a great vintage find)

I would best describe my photography style as soft and classic with a touch of romance. I love to capture the unexpected, more modern feeling moments in the form of a unique angle or blurry photo. I also love the moments that feel very real and truly highlight my client’s personalities.

I truly love capturing joyful moments in small, intimate settings. A family session in a beautiful garden, portraits in a quiet library or museum hall, an intimate elopement ceremony. I also love photographing beautiful articles of clothing, jewelry and apothecary products for brands in romantic settings.

I am a former personal stylist & beauty industry professional, where I apprenticed with my best friend and helped her to open a salon, Fringe Collective, in Charlottesville, VA. After that, I worked for fashion house Chanel - what a dream! Now I am a full time mom to my little girl, Lily & running a vintage shop with my best friend Ashley - Lily Moon.
